RAISE YOURSELF BEFORE YOU RAISE YOUR KIDS

The very first thing that you as parents need to understand is that 'Children only come through you, they don't come from you.' They are not your property or your future-investment.

Parents feel they have a commited audience in their children. Remember, you have a commited audience till they are 11 or 12 because 13 is dangerous.They will do everything opposite to what you will tell them because they want to feel independent.

STOP PARENTING THEM: Yes you read that right. Stop parenting your kid, what they need is a good company, not a bloody boss working around in the house. They need is a friend, not a strict mother or father. Fathering somebody and Mothering somebody means giving a birth, that's already done. Now they are trying to become a life by themselves, what they need is a friend.

The only qualifications parents have is that they came a few years earlier than them. That's all you have. Beyond that you do not need to tell them what to do and what not to do. You only have to guard your child against those unqualified people on the street who can brainwash those innocents. You must have the courage to bring them up in such a way that they don't need to take advice from you either.

That's a fact that what a friend says seems more a pleasure than the things parents 'order' their kids to do. Stop ordering them, Your children's decision matters too, start listening rather than ordering.

You can only guide your child, you cannot tell them what to do or what not to do. Nourish him/her in such a way that they come up to you to seek advise and not any of their friends. If you keep on giving him orders, he will just do the reverse of it because he wants to feel independent.

Bring your child the way they should be, not the way you want them to be.

Just handle this privilege sensibly, respectfully, DO NOT abuse this privilege. You just have to protect them from wrong influencers, rest let them live free of your influence.
